Aventure Acquires Former Southwest Boeing 737NG

Aventure’s latest Boeing 737NG, formerly operated by Southwest Airlines, awaiting teardown in Marana, Arizona.
Aventure Aviation has acquired its twenty-sixth Boeing 737NG airframe, MSN 30280. This 737-700 aircraft was last operated by Southwest Airlines and will be dismantled by Ascent Aviation Services in Marana, Arizona.
“This strategic acquisition underscores Aventure’s ongoing dedication to supporting its global base of 737NG customers,” said Andrew Crombie, director of asset management.
“Aventure continues to strengthen its unique global aviation investment platform, offering tailored opportunities for investors and leasing companies,” said Aventure president Talha Faruqi.
“Leveraging our teardown management expertise, we provide stakeholders with clear pathways for capital deployment, asset management services, and material consignments,” Talha continued.
Aventure is in active discussions with owners, financial institutions, lessors, and airlines to find revenue-generating teardown solutions for idle aircraft.
Aventure Aviation will attend the Air Carriers Purchasing Conference, taking place August 16–19 in Aventure’s hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. Representatives will be available to discuss parts supply solutions with airlines, and seek synergies with MRO shops to assist in the significant number of parts Aventure is outsourcing for refurbishment.
